Since it’ll come up at some point, yes: Benjamin Card is Orson Scott Card’s nephew. He has also been a Counterintelligence Special Agent for the US Army, an “overpriced government consultant” for PricewaterhouseCoopers, and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Security Consultant for a global software development and hosting company.
He is currently working on the Command Activate Trilogy, which he describes as “the love child of the works of Orson Scott Card and Tom Clancy.”
