Winner of the Diamond Quill (2022), and Silver Quill (2019, 2020) awards from the League of Utah Writers for her multi-author anthologies, Lyn Worthen is a freelance editor, published author, and full time writer.
Lyn has been reading since before she can remember, and began her career as a freelance writer and editor sometime in the previous century. When not working on non-fiction projects, Lyn builds the occasional multi-author anthology (eighteen so far), including the ever-popular Cat Ladies of the Apocalypse and They Hunt by Night. In addition, she writes in a various genres under multiple pseudonyms, with ten novels, eighteen multi-author anthologies, and numerous short story publications to her credit. She is a self-described “caffeine-to-text conversion unit,” which possibly explains how she gets so much done.
While her space opera/heist novel, Memoirs of a Synth: Gold Record, is currently a semi-finalist in the 2024 Self Published Science Fiction Competition, she is currently working on Bloodline: Progenitors, an epic fantasy trilogy also written under her Leigh Saunders pen name. When the third volume of that project is complete (later this summer), Lyn plans to briefly switch hats and pen another installment of the Hit Lady for Hire suspense-thriller series, which she writes as mystery author Lauryn Christopher.
Lyn is a member of the Apex Writers Group and Sisters in Crime, and a frequent participant in fiction workshops and conferences, both as a presenter and a student of the craft and business of publishing.
