With a BA in Drama from the University of Washington, Nancy Frye hit the ground at graduation working in costume shops at the UW, Seattle Opera and others. While driving a wagon at a Civil War reenactment, she met her future husband who introduced her to the wacky world of film and TV work. This led to stints as wrangler, background cavalry, actor, and assistant armorer on various films. Attending various writers’ conferences as AV geek for her historian husband, she caught the writing bug. Her first published short story appeared in Space Cowboys 5: Cattle Drive (Raconteur Press). She does the occasional voice over for radio plays and commercials when she’s not writing, playing keyboards in a rock band, or in the woods looking for Sasquatch.
