2026 Post-Cantina Survey
Basics

Was 2026 your first time at Writers Cantina?*

Schedule permitting, do you plan to come again next year (July 9-10)?*

If "No," PLEASE tell us why.

Venue

Were you able to hear without sound equipment in our panel/presentation rooms? (Yes, we know Joe Monson is soft-spoken. Aside from him.)*

Do you have any other comments about the physical venue?

Programming

Are there any specific presentations or panels from this year that you think should be repeated next year, either because you want to attend it again, or you think it would be valuable for others? (If panels, we would make sure that it's not all the same people.)

Conversely, were there any panels/presentations from which you got a lot LESS than you had hoped?

Are there any subjects that you would like to see better represented? (Writing skills, genre specifics, business/career advice, marketing, subject-matter deep dives, etc.)

Hospitality

Was there a broad enough selection of snacks and drinks in the Cantina?*

If "No," please let us know what you would like to see. (Please understand that we have to observe the venue's line between "snacks" and "catering.")

Did you purchase any food from the Good Vibes Grill food truck?*

If "Yes," were you satisfied with the menu available and the value for money compared to other food trucks?

If "no," please explain.

Swag

Is there any promo merchandise you'd like to see in addition to T-shirts? Stickers? Ballcaps? Temporary tattoos? Permanent tattoos?

Miscellaneous

Tell us anything you think we ought to know to make Writers Cantina even better.

Great job this year, as usual! It’s our only convention right now, and totally worth driving 15 hours each way. Thank you for all your hard work!
